These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the CarbPal mobile app, website, and related services. By using CarbPal, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Carb-counting and meal logging service

CarbPal provides tools for saving foods, recording carb entries, totaling meal carbs, storing profile and carb-ratio references, adding meal notes, and reviewing meal history.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for verifying food, serving, carb, and log information. Treatment decisions must be made according to the user's diabetes care plan and in consultation with a qualified healthcare provider. Do not delay or disregard medical care because of information stored in CarbPal.

CarbPal Basic Monthly subscription

CarbPal Basic Monthly costs $0.99 per month in the United States unless a different price is shown by Apple at purchase. It provides access to carb logging, saved meals, meal history and exports, and profile settings.

• Payment is charged to the user's Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
• The subscription automatically renews monthly until cancelled.
• Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment issues.
• Users can manage or cancel the subscription through their Apple Account subscription settings.
• Deleting a CarbPal account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity under their account. Information provided to CarbPal should be accurate and lawful. Account deletion can be initiated from inside the app.

Acceptable use

Users may not misuse CarbPal, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the app except where permitted by law, or use CarbPal for unlawful activity.

Availability and changes

CarbPal may update, suspend, or discontinue features to improve security, comply with law, or maintain the service. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, CarbPal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. CarbPal is not responsible for medical treatment decisions, incorrect user entries, third-party services, or losses that cannot legally be excluded or that are outside CarbPal's reasonable control.

Apple terms

Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as CarbPal changes. Continued use after updated terms become effective means the user accepts the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
